EgyptAir Launches Direct Cairo–Zanzibar Flights | Zanzibar

EgyptAir has confirmed the launch of a new direct service between Cairo and Zanzibar, with the airline’s first flight scheduled to arrive at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport on September 5, 2026. The route will operate twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, using EgyptAir’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

This new connection establishes a direct link between Zanzibar and Egypt’s capital, strengthening ties between the islands and one of North Africa’s most important aviation and tourism hubs.
